Is there a cost to view/watch the Parade?
No, the National Memorial Day Parade is free and open to the public! No tickets are required to attend.
Where is the best place to watch the Parade?
Anywhere along the parade route – Constitution Ave from 7th-17th Street, NW. The National Archives steps provide a great view. Please note, there is no reserved seating available, so please arrive early. Bring your own lawn chairs if you wish to sit.
What day/time is the Parade?
Monday, May 29, 2023 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, with pre-parade musical performances starting at 1:00 PM

What is the best metro stop?
The National Archives/Penn Quarter/Navy Memorial stop on the Green and Yellow lines are located one block from the route. Federal Triangle & Smithsonian on the Orange, Blue, and Silver lines are also a short walk from the route.
Will the parade be televised?
The parade will be broadcast nationwide on local TV stations across the country and to our troops serving around the world on American Forces Network. Click here for a list of stations and show times. You can also watch the parade streaming LIVE at the American Veterans Center’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
Is there parking available?
Due to the number of events on Memorial Day, parking is limited around the National Mall.
