Contest Deadline Extended

Teens and Students Still Have a Chance to Become a Part of History

become_part_of_history(2)The deadline for AVC’s Veterans Video History Contest has been extended to October 15th, 2015.

Students & teens – if you need more time to work on your projects, now is your chance.

Students may interview veterans from across generations, and particularly if possible, those with whom our time is limited: our elder veterans of World War II and Korea. By using media to mobilize youth, the Veterans History Video Contest will connect generations and honor the service of our nation’s heroes, inspiring students to take a greater interest in our nation’s history and freedoms.
