Major Dutch Van Kirk
Remembering Theodore “Dutch” Van Kirk, navigator on the Enola Gay during its famed mission to end World War II. Major Van Kirk spoke at the AVC’s Annual Conference a few years ago, and was recognized along with the bomber’s pilot – Paul Tibbets – at the AVC Honors on the 60th anniversary of their mission in 2005.
