“Wild” Bill Guarnere
We recognize the passing of a true legend of World War II – “Wild Bill” Guarnere of the famed “Band of Brothers.” Through his celebrity found late in life, the attention that Bill and his comrades brought to the entire WWII generation has been so immeasurably important, and we remain grateful for his service both during and since the war.
